The gap between what an operator says he values and what his operation actually rewards, measures, and enforces — almost never visible to the operator from inside it.

Perspective problem before it is anything else. Its visibility is suppressed by Social Friction (filtered cast feedback) and [Activity Crowding] (removed reflective space).

Why Behind the Thinking #

The operator who cannot see his own gap cannot close it, and the gap stays hidden because Social Friction filters feedback before it reaches him and [Activity Crowding] removes the space for reflection that would surface it independently. The fastest way to close the gap is to genuinely ask the cast “where have I drifted from what I say I care about?” and receive the answer without defense — most operators never ask it; the ones who do are the ones who can correct course before the cast stops believing the story.
