Proactive Read

1 min read

Definition #

The standing discipline that replaces [Reactive Dangers]. The continuous examination of current state against MDV potential, running across all five fundamentals and all five stakeholder surfaces, whether or not anything has declared itself.

Family #

Child of [The Decision Architecture]. Sibling/opposite response pattern to [Reactive Dangers]. Runs as Layer Minus 1 (The Standing Examination) of [The Operator Decision Tree].

Why Behind the Thinking #

[Proactive Read] does three things the reactive posture cannot: it finds decisions before they declare themselves (a gap surfaced at 60 days is a manageable adjustment; the same gap surfaced at 180 days is an expensive emergency); it banks intelligence continuously (every logged read, every prosecuted bias, every piloted test compounds into an evidence base); and it routes decisions correctly before pressure corrupts the evaluation, because the examination was already running before the pressure arrived. It is not a scheduled review or a weekly meeting — it is a posture, permanently forward-facing. [Reactive Dangers] and [Proactive Read] are not personality types — they are response patterns, and the same operator runs both; the question is which one is running on a given decision.
