Why Behind the Thinking #

Trained blindness is a structural byproduct of any operating environment, not a personal failing — the cast and the leader both habituate to recurring flaws until those flaws become invisible. Unlearning that blindness has to be a deliberate, practiced skill rather than something that happens automatically with more experience, since more time in the environment tends to deepen the blindness rather than cure it.
