The Typographic Rule — *With* Italicized

< 1 min read

Definition #

The word *with* is italicized throughout the book wherever it is used as the book’s technical referent — i.e., hospitality as the shape life takes when it is lived well in relationship to living with others. This preserves the term’s weight across chapters and keeps the reader in constant low-grade contact with the Romantic Frame / Being-With thesis. Italic convention applies to all future drafts, not just the Intro.
