Definition #
The operator’s discipline of holding all touchpoints together as one coherent thing the Guest composes into a single read on the operator. Functions as Layer 3 (“Aggregation”) of the [Operator Decision Tree]. Distinct from “[The Aggregate],” a related sibling term catalogued under Performance.
Family #
Child of [Guest Experience]. Layer 3 of the [Operator Decision Tree] five-layer structure.
Why Behind the Thinking #
Without this discipline, the operator produces a pile of disconnected touchpoints; the Guest composes a read regardless, but the operator loses authorship of what gets composed. Naming the discipline makes the authoring intentional rather than accidental. A tool that disaggregates the touchpoint set (intermediates discovery, owns Guest data, breaks the operator’s authoring of the aggregate) “supplants by definition” per the [Guest Experience] substitution test.
