Definition #

Hire fast — once the role is designed, fill it. An empty seat is its own [Static Decline] vector. Move when you have enough read to move. Fire faster — once the parallel reads converge on “no corrective fits,” act before the next shift. The cost of holding a wrong-fit cast member compounds across the cast: trainer’s bandwidth divides, cast on station loses trust in the lead’s read, the trainee is disrespected by the delay. Holding is operator failure, not patience. The asymmetry is the teaching: hiring is a forward bet on read; firing is acting on read already converged. The bet takes time to set up. The act on a converged read should not.
