The structural failure pattern of a seat (typically a franchise field role like Franchise Business Coach or Consultant) filled on relationship leverage rather than capability. The hire protects an upstream relationship the franchisor can’t afford to lose — distributor, supplier, lineage, board connection. The role is decorative by design, a revolving door for favoritism.
